I think it looks great. I, however, will not give in and will continue having frequent visits with Miss Clairol. I'm a wimp.

LOL. You're both very kind. Now if I could just grow it past my ears. My goal is to keep it growing - no loss of length, as if that's relevant at the moment - for the duration of our tour here. It is awfully freeing to skip worrying about roots, though. I just have to stay the **** out of the dye aisle at the store. Too much temptation there.

As long as I can. I'm told that everyone has a "terminal length" - a point at which their growth-loss cycle catches up with itself and her hair won't go any further. For some women, that's not much longer than shoulder length, for others it seems to go on forever, for feet past their feet. ;) I really really want to go LONG, but probably not past my rear if it even would go that far. My "short-term" (ha!) goal will be to the bottom of my shoulder blades. My REALLY short-term goal is to just overcome the temptation to cut it some time in the next year...
